Farcry 4 Getting Some Awesome DLC! 2014-02-10

Farcry 4 Getting Some Awesome DLC!

“Ubisoft” is releasing a new DLC called “Overrun” for “Farcry 4”. This DLC brings some really cool things forward like a new PVP mode, new maps and a new vehicle! This DLC is out today, the 10th of Feb, 2015, but our PC gamers will need to wait another 2 days until the 12th of Feb, 2015, to get this DLC.
The “Overrun” DLC brings a new PVP Mode where you have three zones around the map with one active at a time. Two teams compete to control the active zone and get points! The more of the same team members there at a time, the more points that team gets. This game mode is played in two rounds and scores are totalled to find the winner! Pretty much king of the hill with a twist.
This DLC also brings four new maps for the game mode we just spoke about based to maximise the enjoyment of the new mode, but one great thing that the developers are excited to add it the “Dune Buggy” vehicle which is now playable in this new mode.
“Overrun” is available as part on the “Far Cry 4 Season Pass” or can be purchased separately. This DLC is available on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows PC!

  • Zelda Live-Action Television Series? - 2015-02-07

    Zelda Live-Action Television Series?

We have heard some spectacular news for “The Legend of Zelda” fans! According to “Wall Street Journal”, “Netflix” is commencing work on a live-action television show, with the premise of… you guessed it, “The Legend of Zelda”!

It is rumoured that it’s pretty much planned on being a “Game of Thrones” family friendly edition. The proposed series does not currently have a writer yet and doesn’t even have much else spoken about it.

The proposed plot is based on a boy named Link who must rescue Princess Zelda and save the land of Hyrule, sound familiar?

Update: Netflix refuses to respond to Wall Street journal's report.

    Nintendo in 2015

    Nintendo in 2015
    By: Camyboy33

2014 was a great year for Nintendo. Producing great titles including; Super Smash Bros for 3DS and the Wii U, Mario Kart 8, Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, Hyrule Warriors, Kirby Triple Deluxe, Captain Toad Treasure Tracker and many more. After an amazing year I think Nintendo has a lot of work to put 2015 on the same level that 2014 was on. Let’s break down what we know so far about 2015 and speculate what else we might see this year from Nintendo. Let’s start with the 3DS.

Yet again this year we are getting another version of the 3DS family, the New Nintendo 3DS XL. The new features include, The all new C Stick and two more shoulder buttons, Amiibo support, face tracking 3D, micro sd card slot for storage, adjusting light to the amount of light in your area, and of course better hardware. There will be exclusive games to the New 3ds, the first being a Xenoblade Chronicles Remake. I am buying the New 3ds so i will do a more detailed review when i have tested it out for a couple days. For people who just got a 3DS within the last Year i don’t suggest buying a New 3DS, but since I have a almost dead 3DS that i bought almost 3 years ago I preorder the Majora’s Mask New 3DS already. The New 3DS Releases 02/13/15 in North America. Now let’s move on to some games.

I have never played a Monster Hunter game before but i plan to start with Monster Hunter Ultimate 4. The game is very popular and the collectors edition Monster Hunter New 3ds shows that. Another thing they are doing is offering a tutorial demo for new players. Thats what sold me to preorder this game. I don’t know if i should suggest this game or not but after it comes out i’ll have an answer. Monster Hunter Ultimate 4 releases 01/13/15 in North America.

From the little I remember of having a working N64, I remember playing the crap out of this game (which broke the N64). When i saw that Majora’s Mask was getting a remake I was hyped. Majora’s Mask is a part of my childhood and i was lucky enough to pre-order the Majora’s Mask New 3DS and the collectors edition of the game with the Skull Kid figure in time. The game has some new (but not game changing) features. The better graphics also got me hyped for this game. I highly suggest this game. Majora’s Mask 3D releases 01/13/15 in North America.
From Intelligent Systems (creators of Fire Emblem Awakening), a new turned based strategy game called “Code Name: S.T.E.A.M.” emerges. I don't really know what to think about this game yet. I played the demo (available on the 3DS EShop now) and i was fairly happy with the game. This is another game where I can’t say how good it will be. I do trust Intelligent Systems with making a good game (because Awakening was amazing). The characters seem kind of corny, characters including Tom Sawyer and The Lion from The Wizard of Oz. It also has Amiibo support with Fire Emblem characters that were in Smash 4 (Marth, Ike, Robin, Lucina). We’ll just
have to wait and see. “Code Name: S.T.E.A.M.” releases 03/13/15 in North America.

Now let’s talk about what other 3DS games we can see this year. Pokemon will have a new game without a doubt. Generation 7 with a new storyline with new megas. Maybe it will be exclusive to the New 3DS but I doubt it. A new Fire Emblem game had a teaser trailer in the latest Nintendo Direct. We don’t know if it will be a 2015 or 2016 game as of now. The latest I can see this game coming out is summer 2016. A 3DS Donkey Kong game is very possible and a new Metroid game is as well. These 4 series will be the top titles for a 3DS game.

    Now, onto Wii U games:
A platformer/pinball Kirby game called Kirby and the Rainbow Curse has been announced. A game where you draw paint lines to move kirby around the map to the next level. I don’t like these type of games but I know a lot of people do so I can see this game being a hit. I might buy the game but I don’t plan on it as of today. Another game we will have to wait and see. Kirby and the Rainbow Curse releases 2/20/15 in North America.
The first Wii U instalment of the Mario Party series is “Mario Party 10”. “Mario Party 10” has Amiibo support and starts the second line of Amiibo the Mario series Amiibo. The first wave (Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Bowser and Toad) will be released the same day as Mario Party 10. Hopefully there will be an online mode but I doubt it. I will buy Mario Party 10 if it has online. I do suggest this game. Mario Party 10 and wave one of the Mario series amiibo release 3/20/15 in North America.
A third person shooter called Splatoon is coming to the Wii U. A 4v4 strategy game where you are squid like characters and your team covers the map with ink and the other team dies by the opposing teams ink. A great looking games that I plan on buying. I highly suggest this game for people who like action strategy games. Splatoon releases may 2015 in North America.
It seems that Nintendo likes wool based games as there making a second wool game, “Yoshi’s Woolly World”. I don't know much about the Yoshi series but I know the basics. A lot of people will like this game. When Yoshi eats an enemy he turns it into a ball of yarn and throws it as a projectile. It seems like a cool game. I can’t safely suggest this game yet but I think I will be once we know more about the game. “Yoshi’s Woolly World” releases in the first half of 2015 in North America.
Next we talk about a not so typical Mario game named “Mario Maker”. A game on the Wii U where you can create your own custom Mario levels. Its really make your own game instead of a game which I like. Yet again another game we have to wait and see. “Mario Maker” releases somewhere in 2015 in North America.
A sequel to the amazing Xenoblade Chronicles for the Wii is announced, we get Xenoblade Chronicles X. A sequel about the human race finding a new planet to live on. There are rumors that Xenoblade Chronicles X is 5 times bigger than Xenoblade Chronicles, which would equal 300 hours of game play. The developers said the game almost required 2 discs. The soundtrack is being produced by Sawano Hiroyuki who produced the soundtrack for Attack on Titan (my favorite soundtrack ever). This shaping up to be an amazing game. I suggest this game to anyone. Xenoblade Chronicles X will be released somewhere in 2015 in North America.
A must need new “StarFox” game. The “Starfox” series needs a HD title and this is just that. We don’t know a lot about this game yet and i hope they don’t mess this up. This could ruin the series if it’s a bad game so this is a game changing instalment for the StarFox series. This is the biggest hit or miss this year for Nintendo. We'll have to wait and see. StarFox Wii U Releases somewhere in 2015 in North America.
The next game in The Legend of Zelda series is here! Any Zelda game is amazing and I see this one being the same. We only had a 1 minute trailer on this game and it seems like a more futuristic Zelda game. Any fan of open world action will love this game. It would be nice to see amiibo support in this game. I suggest this game to anyone. The Legend of Zelda Wii U releases in 2015 in North America.

Let’s talk about possible new games this year for Wii U. I  think we will see a new “Super Mario” game this year. They will give us a “Super Mario” game if we want it or not. The infamous Shim Megami Tensai X Fire Emblem will hopefully be released this year. These are two very popular games in Japan and I don’t think they dropped this game. A new Metroid is needed. I don’t think we will get a game for both WiiU and 3DS but I think we will get one of the two. Lastly a Wii Sports game. I know Wii Sports Club came out last year but that game was really bad. We need a good Wii Sports game thats about 30 dollars not a bad game for 50 dollars.

The line of Super Smash Bros will most likely be all released by the end of the year along with the Super Mario Amiibo. We could also see some other line of amiibo, maybe The Legend of Zelda or Fire Emblem. I think we will get another Smash DLC this year besides Mewtwo, maybe Roy from Fire Emblem, Lucas from EarthBound or Wolf from StarFox. Along with Mario Kart 8 DLC pack 2 this year I could also see a pack 3 later this year. That’s really it for all we know about Nintendo in 2015 so far. I am happy to announce that I will do an article on everything I talked about here when they are released. So my next article will be about the New Nintendo 3DS XL, Monster Hunter Ultimate 4, and The Legend of Zelda Majora’s Mask 3D within a week of their release!
